•2 1/2 cups of bread flour •4 tbsp of sugar
•2 tbsp of warm water •2 tbsp of coconut Oil (or vegetable oil) •1/2 tsp salt
•4oz coconut milk of your choice
•1 packet of instant yeast
•vegan butter (optional)
Sift flour and add yeast, salt and sugar, and combine in a bowl. Add oil, water and coconut milk, and gently mix with a spatula. Knead the dough, then allow it to rest for 30 minutes. Knead again, then let it rest for 45 minutes to an hour.
Knead and roll the dough into an oval, and cut into 2 inch pieces. Place each piece into your baking pan and bake for 15 minutes on 350° or until the top of your loaf is light brown. Once done, brush the top of the loaf with butter.
