Nursing Essentials

Breastfeeding can be hectic sometimes. Especially during growth spurts when baby clusterfeeds. You'll need an want things to make your breastfeeding journey easier. And every moms needs are different.
Another mom may NEED a pump, but me on the other hand; I don't. Mainly because I'm a stay at home mom with a baby who has no issues latching. But here is a list of some great breastfeeding products, and you can determine which ones you'll need.
Nursing Pillow

I LOVE the My Breastfriend nursing pillow. It's comfortable, has great support for baby's head and supports your back as well.
Breast Pump

There are so many to choose from. And some moms prefer a manual pump. I prefer to hand express. However, one pump I do like is the Pumpables Milk Genie. And the Lansinoh Double Electric pump is a good pump as well.
Nursing Cover
I personally don't cover, but lots of moms do and a nursing cover makes breastfeeding in public more comfortable.
Silicone Milk Catcher

You might notice that when you nurse baby one one side, the other side leaks. Well, I've got something for you. The silicone milk catcher. Unlike other milk catchers, this works as a suction cup, not only catching the leak but pulling extra milk out. Sometimes baby may not want to take the other boob and you're left feeling full on the other side. This is the perfect tool!
Baby Wrap/Carrier
Having a wrap or carrier makes it easy to nurse your baby and get things done around the house. It also makes it easier to nurse in public without worrying about finding a place to sit.
Nipple Balm
Nipple Balm can help ease dryness and pain. Bamboobies has a great nipple balm that doesn't require washing off before nursing, and is made with natural ingredients.
Milk Storage Essentials
Milkies Freeze - Perfect for storing milk flat and keeping all of your bags together
Deep Freezer - Keeps milk separate from a regular freezer without worrying about people opening and closing it throughout the day
Storage Bags - Sturdy and BPA free. I use Dr. Dudu milk storage bags. No complaints from me so far.
Nursing Pads

Some (not all) moms lactate during pregnancy. So you may even need to use nursing pads before your baby arrives. And not all moms leak during their breastfeeding journey, but for those who do, nursing pads are a must have. I personally use Bamboobies disposable AND washable nursing pads. But I prefer to use their disposables most because I can just toss them and they are the only disposables I have never leaked through.
