I am me.
I am the freckles on my face that seem to appear even more the older I get. The anger in my heart from the pain I've felt. The warmth from a love that is never ending. The giver who has nothing left to give. I am the soul that is tired from fighting various struggles. The mother who just wants one day of peace and quiet.
I am the daughter of a rolling stone. A heartbreaker. I am the great granddaughter of Yukiko, a Japanese immigrant. The granddaughter of David, a Native American, Cuban pastor. I am the strong one who just wants to be vulnerable, but I doesn't know how to be. Well, not anymore. That's something I have to work on.
I am spiritual, metaphysical, AJE. I am the friend who will give you her last, and the friend who won't ask for help when in need. The sister who speaks up for you before you can speak up for yourself.
I am everything, but one thing I am not, is what I've been through.
